You should replace the UV lamp in your UV unit annually. Although the lamp may still burn it no longer emits the right UV radiation. Depending on your UVC unit, you will need a PL lamp, a TL T8 lamp, or the latest generation TL T5 lamp. We would recommend taking the old lamp with you to the shop to ensure that you buy the correct replacement. Note: Be sure to clean the quartz glass on the unit carefully before installing the new lamp to optimise light transmission.
