Dwarf Snakehead (Channa gachua) 6-9 cm

Channa gachua, commonly known as the Dwarf Snakehead, is one of the most popular snakehead species in the aquarium hobby. It is known for its fascinating behaviour, intelligence and attractive coloration.

This species appreciates aquariums with plenty of cover, driftwood and vegetation. As an air-breathing fish, it requires access to the water surface and a secure lid to prevent escapes.
