Blue Fan Shrimp (Atya gabonensis) 4-6 cm

Atya gabonensis, commonly known as the Blue Fan Shrimp, is a large filter-feeding shrimp admired for its fan-shaped front limbs. It uses these fans to collect food particles carried by the water current.

This peaceful species thrives in aquariums with moderate to strong water flow, plenty of hiding places and elevated perches where it can feed naturally.
