Crown Nerite Snail (Clithon corona)

Clithon corona is a small and attractive algae-eating snail recognised by the distinctive spines on its shell. It is popular among aquarists due to its effectiveness in controlling algae and its unique appearance.

The species spends most of its time grazing on algae and biofilm growing on glass, rocks and driftwood. It is plant-safe and well suited to community aquariums.
