African Moony (Monodactylus sebae) 'niger' 4-5 cm
Monodactylus sebae, commonly known as the African Moony, is a striking schooling fish recognized by its deep-bodied shape, silvery coloration and bold vertical bands. It is an active swimmer that thrives in groups and requires plenty of open swimming space.
This species is best suited to large aquariums and adapts particularly well to brackish environments. Adult specimens generally perform best when maintained in brackish water conditions.
