Nomorhamphus liemi

Nomorhamphus liemi is a livebearing halfbeak native to Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is easily recognized by its elongated lower jaw and its habit of spending most of its time near the water surface.

This active and interesting species does well in a peaceful aquarium with plenty of open swimming space and suitable tank mates.

An omnivorous species that prefers animal-based foods such as:
