Diversa Glass Aquarium

The Diversa Aquarium is a clean and practical glass tank for creating an individually designed aquarium. Clear glass provides a bright and unobstructed view of fish, plants, and decorations. Its timeless appearance fits a wide range of interiors and allows the aquarium itself to become an attractive feature in the room.

A separate glass tank gives the aquarium keeper freedom to choose the equipment according to the intended setup. Filtration, lighting, heating, cover, and other accessories can be selected individually. This makes the aquarium suitable for planted displays, community aquariums, breeding projects, quarantine systems, and marine aquariums.

The clear float glass provides good light transmission and a natural view into the aquarium. The glass panels are joined with durable silicone seams. Depending on the size and construction, larger models may include glass reinforcement strips for additional structural support.

Multiple sizes make it possible to choose an aquarium for different projects. Smaller tanks can be used for planted displays, breeding, or temporary applications. Larger aquariums provide more swimming space, more stable water conditions, and greater flexibility when planning the livestock.

The Diversa Aquarium can be furnished with sand, gravel, rocks, wood, and aquatic plants. Select the substrate according to the fish, plants, and desired appearance. Heavy rocks and decorations must be installed securely to prevent movement and concentrated pressure against the glass.

Filtration should be selected according to the aquarium volume, livestock, and biological load. An internal filter can be suitable for many small and medium aquariums, while an external filter normally provides greater media capacity for larger or more heavily stocked systems. Marine aquariums may also use a sump and other specialized equipment.

A thermostatically controlled heater is normally required for tropical aquariums. Lighting should be selected according to aquarium plants, corals, or the intended display. Open aquariums can use suspended lights or fixtures mounted on the glass edges. A separate cover can be added to reduce evaporation and help prevent fish from jumping.

Place the aquarium on a level, stable, and sufficiently strong cabinet or stand. The complete base must be supported evenly. Use a suitable aquarium mat when required by the selected tank or furniture design. Never lift or move the aquarium while it contains water, substrate, or decorations.

Selecting the aquarium

Choose the aquarium size according to the intended livestock. Consider adult size, group requirements, activity, territorial behaviour, and required swimming area. A larger water volume generally provides more stable conditions and greater flexibility when creating a balanced aquarium.

Check the exact external dimensions and nominal volume of the selected model before ordering. The actual water volume will be lower because substrate, rocks, wood, equipment, and the space above the waterline reduce the usable capacity.

Setup and use

1. Place the aquarium on a level and load bearing cabinet.
2. Use a spirit level to check the surface in every direction.
3. Install a suitable aquarium mat when required.
4. Inspect the glass and silicone seams before filling.
5. Rinse the substrate and aquarium decorations.
6. Position heavy rocks and decorations securely.
7. Install the filter, heater, lighting, and other equipment.
8. Fill the aquarium gradually while checking the seams.
9. Start the filtration and prepare suitable water conditions.
10. Cycle the biological filtration before introducing fish.
11. Add livestock gradually and monitor water quality.
12. Never lift or move a filled aquarium.
