Diversa Fine Glass Aquarium

The Diversa Fine Aquarium is a contemporary glass aquarium developed for aquarium keepers who value durability, practical use, and refined appearance. Its minimalist design fits modern interiors while providing an attractive display for fish, plants, and aquascaping.

The aquarium is manufactured from high quality float glass. Glass thickness is selected according to aquarium size and European DIN requirements. Carefully ground and polished edges improve the finish and make handling safer during installation.

A distinctive feature of the Fine Aquarium is its increased height. The taller construction provides additional space for large aquatic plants, decorative wood, and layered aquascapes. The increased water column also creates an impressive display for fish using different levels of the aquarium.

A decorative band surrounds the upper section of the aquarium. Plastic end pieces complete the design and create the appearance of a modern integrated canopy. The band gives the aquarium a cohesive appearance when combined with compatible lighting and cabinetry.

Fine Aquariums are available with white, black, or truffle coloured decorative bands. These options make it easier to match the aquarium with light, dark, or warm toned interiors.

Structural reinforcement depends on aquarium size. Larger models use longitudinal bracing or a combination of longitudinal and transverse braces. These reinforcements support the aquarium structure against the pressure created by the water volume.

The Fine Aquarium is compatible with Diversa LED Alex and LED Expert lighting systems. Different lighting versions are available, allowing illumination to be selected according to fish, plants, and the intended aquarium setup. Lighting may not be included when purchasing the aquarium separately.

Diversa Fine is suitable for freshwater community aquariums, planted aquariums, and species focused displays. With correctly selected equipment, it can also be configured as a marine aquarium. Filtration, lighting, heating, and other equipment should be selected according to aquarium volume, livestock, and biological load.

The additional height is suitable for large sword plants, Vallisneria, and other tall aquatic species. Rocks, wood, and plants of different heights can be combined to create a layered display.

Filtration can be provided by an internal filter or external filter. In larger Fine Aquariums, an external filter normally provides greater media capacity and keeps visible aquarium equipment to a minimum. Select filtration according to actual water volume, livestock, and maintenance requirements.

A thermostatically controlled heater should be selected for tropical aquariums. Position the heater in an area with good circulation to distribute heat evenly.

Place the aquarium on a level, stable, and sufficiently strong cabinet. The full base must receive even support. Never lift or move the aquarium while it contains water, substrate, or decorations.

The stated volumes are calculated from the external dimensions. Actual water volume is lower because glass thickness, substrate, decorations, equipment, and filling height reduce usable capacity. Fine Aquariums should be filled to the lower edge of the decorative band.

Selecting the aquarium

Select the Fine Aquarium according to the intended livestock, plants, and layout. Consider adult fish size, group requirements, swimming behaviour, and territorial needs.

A 50 cm deep model provides more floor space for layered aquascaping and larger fish. A 120 cm long model suits active schooling fish. The smaller 80 cm model is a practical option for more compact spaces.

Installation and setup

1. Place the aquarium on a level and sufficiently strong cabinet.
2. Check the surface with a spirit level.
3. Use the aquarium mat recommended by the manufacturer.
4. Inspect the glass, silicone seams, and braces.
5. Rinse substrate and decorations when required.
6. Position heavy rocks securely without creating pressure points.
7. Install filtration, heating, lighting, and other equipment.
8. Fill the aquarium gradually to the lower edge of the decorative band.
9. Monitor the silicone seams during filling.
10. Start equipment only when it contains sufficient water.
11. Cycle the biological filtration before adding fish.
12. Introduce livestock gradually.
13. Monitor ammonium, ammonia, nitrite, and other essential water values.
14. Never lift or move a filled aquarium.
