The Diversa Themed Aquarium Set provides an accessible and engaging introduction to aquarium keeping. Its compact glass aquarium combines a small footprint with a colourful theme and a simple layout that can be customized with suitable aquarium accessories.

Two themed versions are available:

Pirate’s Treasure

Pirate’s Treasure creates an adventurous underwater setting inspired by hidden treasure and maritime stories. A themed ornament, artificial plant, and gravel provide the foundation for the layout.

The display can be expanded with aquarium safe treasure chests, shipwreck ornaments, rocks, or natural aquatic plants. Only materials designed or confirmed as safe for aquarium use should be added.

Mermaid’s Paradise

Mermaid’s Paradise creates a colourful underwater fantasy setting. A themed ornament, artificial plant, and gravel form a decorative foundation that can be complemented with suitable aquatic plants, small rocks, and aquarium safe ornaments.

The theme works particularly well with pale, blue, and turquoise colours combined with natural green vegetation.

Compact glass aquarium

The aquarium measures 20 x 20 x 25 cm and has a nominal volume of 10 litres. Its compact footprint makes it easy to place on a shelf, desk, or another stable piece of furniture.

The stated capacity is calculated from the external dimensions. Actual water volume is lower because the glass, gravel, ornaments, equipment, and empty space above the waterline reduce the usable volume.

Selecting a suitable use

The aquarium is best suited to a planted nano display, suitable snails, or another carefully planned miniature environment. A water volume of this size provides very limited possibilities for keeping fish permanently.

Before introducing animals, check the adult size, space requirements, social behaviour, temperature range, and water quality needs of the species. An adult should always remain responsible for animal care and aquarium maintenance.

A small water volume reacts quickly to overfeeding, temperature changes, and accumulating organic waste. Regular water testing and a low biological load are therefore especially important.

Required equipment

Choose a compact filter that produces gentle circulation. It should provide mechanical and biological filtration without creating excessive flow inside the small aquarium.

A suitable thermostatically controlled heater is required for tropical animals. Confirm that the selected model is designed for the small water volume and monitor the temperature with a separate aquarium thermometer.

Aquatic plants require an appropriately sized LED light. A timer helps maintain a consistent daily lighting period and reduces the risk of excessive algae caused by overly long illumination.

Filtration, heating, lighting, and other technical equipment are not included unless specifically stated for the selected product version.

Setup and use

1. Place the aquarium on a level, stable, and water resistant surface.
2. Make sure the complete aquarium base receives even support.
3. Inspect the glass and silicone seams.
4. Rinse the gravel with clean water.
5. Rinse the ornaments without detergents.
6. Add the gravel and arrange the themed layout.
7. Install a separately purchased filter, heater, and light when required.
8. Fill the aquarium with correctly prepared water.
9. Start electrical equipment only after correct installation.
10. Cycle the biological filtration before introducing animals.
11. Add animals only after water conditions are stable.
12. Monitor temperature and water quality regularly.
13. Perform small partial water changes as required.
14. Avoid overfeeding and excessive stocking.
