Chihiros Sand Flattener -pohjalasta (34 cm)

The Chihiros Sand Flattener is designed for building and maintaining detailed aquarium landscapes. It can level decorative sand, reshape slopes, restore pathways and separate sand from nutrient-rich planted substrate.

Cut-outs in the working end allow water to pass through the tool, reducing drag and helping prevent excessive disturbance when the flattener is used underwater.

Directions

1. Use the wide end to level large substrate areas.
2. Build slopes gradually to prevent collapse.
3. Use the narrow end around plants, rocks and driftwood.
4. Refine the boundaries between decorative sand and planted substrate.
5. Work slowly when the aquarium is filled with water.
6. Do not press the metal tool against the aquarium glass.
7. Prevent sand grains from becoming trapped between the tool and glass.
8. Check for burrowing livestock before reshaping the substrate.
9. Rinse the tool after use.
10. Dry thoroughly before storage.
