Sicce Pump Clean is a versatile cleaning product for the thorough maintenance of pumps, filters, and other equipment used in contact with water. The concentrated powder is dissolved in water to create a cleaning solution that loosens limescale, mineral deposits, and stubborn residue from equipment surfaces and difficult internal areas.

Aquarium pumps gradually collect mineral deposits during normal operation. The impeller, impeller chamber, and internal water channels are particularly vulnerable to buildup. These deposits may restrict water flow, increase operating noise, and place additional strain on moving components. Regular cleaning helps maintain pump performance and supports a longer service life.

Pump Clean is suitable for circulation pumps, return pumps, stream pumps, aquarium filters, removable protein skimmer components, and other technical aquarium equipment. It can also be used for maintaining pond and hydroponic equipment.

The natural, biodegradable, and environmentally friendly powder is designed for cleaning products that operate submerged or in continuous contact with water. All components must be removed from the aquarium before treatment. After cleaning, rinse every part thoroughly with clean water before returning it to service.

Dosage and use

Dissolve 56 grams, approximately four tablespoons, of Pump Clean in about 0.95 litres of water. For a larger cleaning solution, use 168 grams in approximately 3.8 litres of water. Mix thoroughly until the powder has dissolved.

1. Disconnect the equipment from the electrical supply.
2. Remove the pump or other equipment from the aquarium.
3. Disassemble it according to the equipment manufacturer’s instructions.
4. Prepare the Pump Clean solution in a separate container.
5. Submerge the components in the prepared solution.
6. Soak wet mineral deposits for approximately 2 to 3 hours.
7. Soak dry or stubborn deposits for approximately 3 to 4 hours.
8. Remove any remaining residue with a soft brush.
9. Rinse all components several times with clean water.
10. Reassemble and reinstall the equipment only after thorough rinsing.

Do not add the cleaning product directly to the aquarium. Always use a separate cleaning container and follow the instructions on the packaging.
