When dosing Boron (B) for the first time:

Do not autodose Boron, because it get absorbed in the beginning and once at level, it will overshoot. Just bring up the level and keep it on manual corrections, it's not easy to bring down (B) w/o water changes.

Target 4ppm because there are alternative sources for boron getting into the tank.
my personal experience is that a boron level up to 10ppm did not harm my corals and livestock
