DSR MgSO4+, magnesiumsulfaatti

MgSO4+ – Magnesium reef supplement.
Target: 1300-1400 ppm (maximal 50ppm/d)
MgSO is used to topup magnesium & sulphur and for mixing new saltwater
Concentration: 1gr / 100L  ~ 1ppm Mg raise
Start dosing: adjust according to real consumption

In the DSR method, MgSO4 is currently only used when preparing fresh water (New preparation).

The reason for this is the concern that SO4 might otherwise accumulate in the system. However, if it turns out that there is a deficiency of SO4 in the system (determined by external measurement), it can be supplemented with MgSO4 to restore this balance. The dosing of MgSO4 can be multiplied by a factor of *1.21 from the calculated MgCl dosage.

Short-term dosing of MgSO4 (instead of MgCl2) without measuring SO4 will not significantly affect the total amount of SO4 already present.
