Preparation Before Treatment

Remove activated carbon and phosphate-removing media.
Turn off UV sterilizers during treatment.
Turn off the protein skimmer for the first 72 hours.
Do not use if macroalgae or a refugium is present.

Dosage

Add 1 level large scoop per 25 US gallons (95 liters) of aquarium water.
Alternatively, use 1 generous small scoop per 5 US gallons (19 liters).
Add the powder directly to a high-flow area of the aquarium.

Treatment Period

A single dose is usually sufficient for the entire treatment.
Allow 10–14 days for results.
After treatment, perform water changes and add fresh activated carbon to the filtration system.
