Highly concentrated solution for adding selenium if there are deficits in the aquarium.

Selenium is an essential trace element that is required in particular for enzymes for the detoxification of oxygen radicals. In seawater, its concentration is very low at 0.15 µg/l (ppb). Take care not to overdose on this trace element.

Application & Dosage

2 ml per 100 l/ 26 US-gal. aquarium volume increases the selenium content by 1 μg/l (ppb).

Maximum dosage: 2 ml per 100 l/ 26 US-gal. (adding 1 μg/l (ppb)) daily.

Store in a cool and dark place.

 

Other product recommendations

Iodine, fluorine, and bromine are consumed in the same ratio as selenium, therefore we recommend adding them at the same time. For easy dosing of these elements with just a single solution, we recommend Tropic Marin® Block Iodine.

We recommend checking the selenium content and other water values regularly with Tropic Marin® ICP Water Analysis or Tropic Marin® ICP Water Analysis Plus.
