Nyos Reef Putty is a two-component epoxy putty for mounting corals and building reef structures. It works both underwater and above the surface, and bonds to coral, live rock, glass, plastic and PVC pipework.

The putty is soft with a working time of about 45 minutes, so there is time to shape it properly. It is silicone free and gets overgrown by coralline algae, so the joint blends into the reef.

Use

Wear protective gloves.
Cut equal pieces from both sticks with a sharp knife.
Remove the wrappings and knead the components into a homogeneous mass.
The putty is ready to use. It sets in about 3 hours and reaches full strength in about 24 hours.
