Chihiros CO2 Soda sovitin (TR21/4 → W.21.8)

The adapter connects a TR21/4 threaded carbonating cylinder to a W21.8 aquarium CO₂ regulator. It changes only the mechanical connection and does not reduce pressure or control the gas flow.

A complete aquarium CO₂ system also requires a suitable regulator, precision valve, solenoid or timer, pressure-resistant hose, check valve and diffuser or reactor.

Installation

1. Confirm that the cylinder uses a TR21/4 screw thread.
2. Confirm that the regulator has a W21.8 cylinder connection.
3. Close the cylinder valve and release all system pressure.
4. Inspect the threads and sealing ring.
5. Fit the adapter and regulator without overtightening.
6. Secure the CO₂ cylinder upright.
7. Close the regulator needle valve.
8. Open the cylinder valve slowly.
9. Check every connection with a suitable leak-detection solution.
10. Never use a flame to locate a gas leak.
11. Adjust working pressure and CO₂ flow gradually.
12. Inspect the installation during the first hours of operation.
