Chihiros CO₂ Hose PRO 4/6 mm 2 m

The hose connects compatible CO₂ regulators, solenoid valves, bubble counters, check valves, diffusers and external reactors. Its 4 mm internal diameter and 6 mm external diameter correspond to the standard hose size used by many aquarium CO₂ and air systems.

Flexible silicone is easier to route than conventional PVC tubing and resists becoming stiff or porous during prolonged CO₂ use.

Installation

1. Confirm that all connectors accept 4/6 mm tubing.
2. Close the CO₂-cylinder valve and release system pressure.
3. Plan and measure every hose section.
4. Cut the hose cleanly and squarely.
5. Push the tubing fully onto each connector.
6. Install a check valve in the correct flow direction.
7. Avoid sharp bends, kinks and unnecessary hose length.
8. Use a Chihiros U-Clip when routing the hose over the aquarium rim.
9. Open the cylinder valve slowly.
10. Check every connection for leakage.
11. Adjust the CO₂ flow gradually.
12. Monitor aquarium pH, the CO₂ indicator and livestock.
