Chihiros Extender CO2 -paineenalennin PRO Limited Edition

The Extender converts a compatible Chihiros regulator into a two-outlet CO₂ system. It attaches directly to the regulator and removes the need for a separate pressure reducer or universal manifold.

The additional outlet includes its own precision needle valve, enabling its bubble rate to be adjusted separately from the regulator’s original outlet. A transparent bubble counter provides immediate visual confirmation of gas flow.

Installation

1. Close the CO₂-cylinder valve.
2. Disconnect power from the regulator’s solenoid.
3. Release all remaining system pressure.
4. Confirm that both pressure gauges indicate no pressure.
5. Remove the designated expansion-port plug.
6. Inspect and correctly position the supplied seal.
7. Attach the Extender without overtightening.
8. Fill the bubble counter as instructed.
9. Connect pressure-resistant CO₂ hose.
10. Install a check valve when required.
11. Close both fine-adjustment valves.
12. Open the cylinder valve slowly.
13. Test every connection for leaks.
14. Never use a flame to locate a gas leak.
15. Open the Extender valve gradually.
16. Adjust the bubble rate in small increments.
17. Allow the system to stabilise after each adjustment.
18. Monitor aquarium pH, the CO₂ indicator and livestock carefully.
