JBL PH minus 100ml aquacid

A product for lowering the pH in freshwater aquariums and in turtle and shrimp tanks, 100 ml.

The active ingredient is natural oak extract. The product is phosphate-free – which matters, because many pH-lowering products are based on phosphoric acid and bring algae nutrient into the tank at the same time.

Target value: for most freshwater fish and plants the suitable pH is close to neutral, around 7.

An important warning: the carbonate hardness (KH) must be at least 4 °dKH. Below that the water has no buffering capacity and the pH will collapse out of control – measure the KH before lowering the pH.

Dosage: at pH above 8: 10 ml per 40 litres. At pH 7 to 8: 10 ml per 80 litres.
