Connect the Air Disk Filter to an air pump (advice: SF Air-Flow 1 (100 L/h) and place it on the bottom of the aquarium. The air stone provides extra oxygen and enhances the Venturi effect. Feces and suspended particles are filtered out of the water by the sponge and aerobic bacteria in the filter media convert harmful ammonia (NH3) into nitrite (NO2) and nitrate (NO3).
