Korallen Zucht ZEOspur 2 Concentrate

Korallen-Zucht ZEOspur 2 Concentrate is a highly concentrated specialist supplement for experienced reef keepers seeking to enhance natural SPS coral coloration. It was developed as part of the ZEOvit system but can also be used in other stable, low-nutrient reef aquariums.

ZEOspur 2 influences the density of zooxanthellae living within coral tissue. A controlled reduction in the outer tissue layers allows deeper coral pigments to become more visible.

Because zooxanthellae provide an important source of energy, the product must be dosed with exceptional precision. ZEOspur 2 is not a conventional daily trace-element supplement.

Intended corals

The product is particularly suitable for:

• Acropora
• Anacropora
• Montipora

Only use the product with healthy, established, and actively growing corals. Do not use it with recently introduced, damaged, stressed, or declining specimens.

Rapid visible response

A visible response may begin approximately 24 hours after dosing, with the strongest effect normally occurring after approximately 48 hours.

Monitor coral tissue, polyp extension, coloration, growth tips, nitrate, and phosphate closely after dosing.

Dosage

Dose:

1 ml per 100 litres of actual aquarium-system water volume every 8–10 days.

Approximate quantities

• 50 litres: 0.5 ml
• 100 litres: 1 ml
• 200 litres: 2 ml
• 250 litres: 2.5 ml
• 300 litres: 3 ml
• 400 litres: 4 ml
• 500 litres: 5 ml
• 750 litres: 7.5 ml

Calculate the dose according to actual net water volume after accounting for rock, substrate, equipment, and decoration.

Instructions

1. Calculate the actual system water volume.
2. Confirm that the corals are healthy and stable.
3. Measure the product with a precise dosing syringe.
4. Dose 1 ml per 100 litres.
5. Add the supplement to an area with strong circulation or to the sump.
6. Do not dose directly onto corals.
7. Do not divide the dose into smaller daily quantities.
8. Wait at least 8–10 days before dosing again.
9. Monitor coral response during the first 48 hours.
10. Never increase the quantity to accelerate the effect.
11. Stop use if corals become excessively pale or tissue condition declines.
12. Make only one significant coloration or nutrient adjustment at a time.

Storage

Store in a cool location protected from light. Close the bottle securely after use and prevent contamination.
