Chihiros Lämmitin PRO (0–1000 W) – 12/16 mm

Chihiros Heater PRO is installed in the return hose of an external filter. Water passes through the heater outside the aquarium and is then distributed throughout the tank by the filter flow.

The external design keeps the aquascape free from visible heater rods, suction cups and additional cables. It is especially suitable for planted aquariums, aquascapes and other displays where equipment should remain discreet.

The heater does not continuously draw its full 1000 W capacity. The user selects a maximum output of 200, 400, 600, 800 or 1000 W, after which the heater automatically applies only the power needed to reach or maintain the selected temperature.

Installation

1. Confirm that the external filter uses 12/16 mm hose.
2. Disconnect the filter and heater from the power supply.
3. Close the external-filter valves.
4. Select a dry, accessible installation location.
5. Install the heater in the filter return hose.
6. Follow the indicated water-flow direction.
7. Push the hoses completely onto the connectors.
8. Support the hoses to prevent strain on the heater.
9. Open the filter valves and fill the system with water.
10. Start the external filter before powering the heater.
11. Remove trapped air and confirm steady water flow.
12. Check every connection for leaks.
13. Connect the heater to the My Chihiros app.
14. Select an appropriate maximum power setting.
15. Set the required water temperature.
16. Verify the reading with a separate reliable thermometer.
17. Inspect the installation closely during the first day of operation.
