Chihiros Suodatinletku PRO 12/16 mm (2x 1,5 m)

The hose has a 12 mm internal diameter and a 16 mm external diameter. It fits commonly used 12/16 mm external-filter connections, compatible glassware, shut-off valves and inline equipment.

The flexible construction is easier to route through an aquarium cabinet than conventional stiff tubing. It reduces strain on filter connections and glass inlet or outlet pipes while simplifying installation and maintenance.

Installation

1. Confirm that all connectors are designed for 12/16 mm hose.
2. Position the external filter and inline equipment.
3. Plan smooth inlet and return-hose routes.
4. Measure carefully before cutting.
5. Leave a small amount of additional length for maintenance.
6. Cut the hose cleanly and squarely.
7. Push the hose fully over each connector.
8. Fit suitable hose clamps when required.
9. Avoid sharp bends and kinks.
10. Fill and bleed the filter circuit.
11. Start the external filter.
12. Check every connection for leakage.
13. Inspect the installation again after several hours.
