Chihiros Suodatinletku PRO 16/21 mm (2x 1,5 m)

The flexible silicone construction is easier to route through aquarium cabinets than conventional rigid PVC hose. It places less strain on filter connectors and glass pipes while remaining manageable during maintenance.

The opaque grey finish complements modern aquascaping equipment and conceals visible algae and deposits inside the hose. Internal cleaning is still required periodically to maintain water flow.

Installation

1. Confirm that every connector is designed for 16/21 mm hose.
2. Position the external filter and inline equipment.
3. Plan smooth inlet and return-hose routes.
4. Measure carefully before cutting.
5. Leave a small amount of additional length for maintenance.
6. Cut the hose cleanly and squarely.
7. Push the hose fully over the connector.
8. Install suitable hose clamps when required.
9. Avoid sharp bends, kinks and unnecessary loops.
10. Fill and bleed the filter circuit.
11. Start the external filter.
12. Check every connection for leakage.
13. Inspect the installation again after several hours.
