TMC First Wave Aquarium Set 78L combines the aquarium, filtration, circulation, lighting, and protein skimming in one organized system. Essential equipment is contained inside the integrated filtration chamber, reducing the need for external hoses and separate filtration units.

The aquarium is suitable for beginners entering reef keeping as well as experienced aquarists creating a compact reef, species aquarium, or freshwater aquascape.

The integrated filtration system includes mechanical, chemical, and biological media:

The fine filter pad captures small suspended particles, coarse sponges provide mechanical and biological filtration, activated carbon removes discolouration and odours, and ceramic rings provide porous surface area for beneficial bacteria.

Reef-Ready LED lighting

The integrated low-voltage Reef-Ready LED system includes 54 LEDs. Its approximately 14,000 K colour temperature provides a crisp marine appearance and a natural lighting cycle with sunrise, daylight, sunset, and blue moonlight.

The lighting is suitable for marine fish, many soft corals, and selected corals with moderate lighting requirements. More demanding corals should be chosen according to their individual needs.
