ATI Fiji White Sand - 9,07 kg

ATI Fiji White Sand creates a bright, natural-looking substrate for modern reef aquariums. Its brilliant-white appearance highlights colourful fish, corals and reef rock while reflecting aquarium lighting throughout the display.

The high-density material remains more stable than comparable lightweight aragonite sand. This reduces drifting, exposed bottom panels and unwanted sand piles in aquariums with powerful wavemakers.

Available grain sizes

• Small, 0.3–1.2 mm: fine and natural-looking; suitable for burrowing wrasses, sand-sifting gobies, jawfish and selected sand-dwelling invertebrates.
• Medium, 1.0–2.0 mm: versatile all-purpose grain for most mixed and coral-dominated reef aquariums.
• Large, 2.0–3.0 mm: coarse and highly stable; suitable for strong-flow SPS systems.

Directions

1. Select the grain size according to water flow and livestock.
2. Rinse the sand repeatedly until the water runs mostly clear.
3. Do not use soap or household cleaning products.
4. Stabilise the main rock structure before adding the substrate.
5. Spread the material evenly around the rockwork.
6. Create an approximately 2 cm layer for general reef use.
7. Add saltwater slowly to minimise cloudiness.
8. Use mechanical filtration to remove residual dust.
9. Allow a new aquarium to mature before adding livestock.
10. Lightly siphon selected areas during future water changes.
