Diversa Aquarium Bottom Frame

The Diversa Aquarium Bottom Frame is designed for installation around the base of a compatible Diversa aquarium. It forms a finished perimeter around the bottom glass and provides a model-specific foundation between the aquarium and its supporting cabinet.

The frame is suitable for replacing a damaged or missing original bottom frame and restoring an existing Diversa aquarium. A correctly selected frame fits evenly without forcing, bending, or placing pressure on the aquarium glass.

This product is not an upper frame, cover-glass support, or flexible aquarium mat. It is specifically intended for the bottom of the aquarium.

Protects the lower glass edges

The frame surrounds the lower perimeter and helps protect exposed glass edges during handling and normal use. It also creates a finished transition between the aquarium and cabinet.

The frame does not make the aquarium impact resistant. Never lift, drag, or carry an aquarium by its bottom frame.

Model-specific spare part

Aquarium volume alone is not sufficient for selecting a replacement frame. Check:

Aquarium cabinet requirements

The bottom frame does not replace a suitable aquarium cabinet. The supporting surface must be level, stable, clean, and capable of carrying the complete operating weight.

No sand, screws, cables, or other hard objects may remain beneath the frame.

Bottom frame and aquarium mat

A bottom frame and a flexible aquarium mat are different products. The frame is installed around the aquarium base, while a flexible mat is used only when required by the aquarium manufacturer.

Do not place a full soft mat beneath a framed aquarium unless the manufacturer specifically permits it. The aquarium may be designed to transfer its weight through the bottom frame.

Installation

1. Confirm compatibility with the exact aquarium model.
2. Empty the aquarium completely.
3. Remove all livestock, water, substrate, and decoration.
4. Place the empty aquarium on a level, protected work surface.
5. Remove the old frame carefully.
6. Clean the lower glass edges.
7. Inspect the glass and silicone seams for damage.
8. Test-fit the new frame without adhesive or excessive force.
9. Confirm that every edge and corner fits evenly.
10. Use only the installation method approved by the manufacturer.
11. Allow aquarium-safe silicone to cure completely when required.
12. Place the aquarium on a level and load-bearing cabinet.
13. Confirm that no hard particles remain beneath the frame.
14. Fill the aquarium only after installation is complete.
15. Never lift a filled aquarium by the bottom frame.
