The Feeding Rock is a two-part rock in which feeder crickets are coated with vitamin powder before they go into the terrarium.

The usual method – dusting powder into the terrarium – leaves vitamin residue in the substrate. In a humid terrarium that residue is a growth medium for harmful bacteria. The rock keeps the powder inside, so the excess can be reused and none of it ends up on the floor.

Use: pour an ultra-fine powder supplement into the deeper part of the rock. Add a maximum of 10 to 20 crickets, depending on size. Put the two pieces together and shake gently until all the insects are coated. Place the rock in the terrarium and remove the plug.
