Dosage

The manufacturer’s basic dosage is 1 measuring spoon per 100 liters of aquarium water. Fill a small container with approximately 20 ml of aquarium water, add the measured amount of AquaForest Power Food and mix for about one minute. The prepared suspension can be dosed directly into the aquarium or target fed to selected corals with a pipette.

Feeding frequency

The product is recommended for use at least once a week. In mature, stable and well functioning reef aquariums, feeding can be increased when needed. Start carefully, especially if the aquarium is new, nutrient values are already elevated or coral feeding has not been part of the regular routine before.

Before use

When introducing a new coral food, start with half or even one quarter of the recommended dose and observe coral response. SPS and LPS corals often use food most effectively after lights out when polyps are extended. Zoanthus, Ricordea and mushroom corals may also benefit from daytime feeding.

Avoid overdosing
