Prime Reef Flakes provides concentrated marine nutrition for active reef fish requiring a protein-rich diet. Its combination of fish, krill, squid, shellfish, brine shrimp and marine fish eggs reflects the variety of animal-based foods available in a natural reef environment.

Marine algae, spirulina and garlic complement the seafood ingredients with natural pigments, plant-derived nutrients and an attractive flavour.

Feeding instructions

1. Feed small portions one to three times daily.
2. Offer only as much as the fish consume within five minutes.
3. Add the food in several small quantities.
4. Crush the flakes for small-mouthed fish.
5. Distribute the food through the upper water column.
6. Ensure that shy and slower fish receive food.
7. Remove clearly uneaten flakes.
8. Combine Prime Reef with other species-appropriate foods.
9. Provide additional algae-based foods for herbivorous fish.
10. Adjust the amount according to fish size, number and activity.
11. Monitor aquarium nitrate and phosphate levels.
12. Close the container securely after feeding.
