Cranwell's Horned Frog (Ceratophrys cranwelli) Strawberry is a colourful morph of one of the most popular amphibians in the hobby. Native to South America, the species is known for its round body shape, huge mouth and ambush hunting style.

The species thrives in a humid terrarium with suitable substrate for burrowing and a shallow water dish. Horned Frogs spend much of their time partially buried while waiting for prey.

A varied diet of insects and other appropriately sized feeder animals is recommended. Regular calcium and vitamin supplementation supports healthy growth and development.

Horned Frogs are generally solitary animals and should be housed individually.
