Always select live food according to the size and mouth size of the fish. Whole blackworms may not be suitable for the smallest fry.

Feeding

1. Check that the worms are alive and actively moving.
2. Remove only the amount required for one feeding.
3. Separate the worms from the package water with a fine net or sieve.
4. Rinse them with clean, cool, dechlorinated water.
5. Add a small quantity to the aquarium.
6. Feed only as much as the fish consume within a few minutes.
7. Remove visible uneaten food.
8. Use blackworms as supplementary food within a varied diet.

Blackworms can also be offered from a suitable worm feeder. The feeder keeps the worms accessible and allows fish to pull them out gradually.

Storage and delivery

Store live blackworms in a cool location according to the package and supplier instructions. Protect the portions from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and freezing. Check the worms before every feeding.
