Hobby Canyon Rock S

A porous, fissured natural stone for the aquarium, the terrarium and aquascaping. The colouring is brown and white and the patterning irregular, so the stones build into a canyon-like landscape. Size S.

The rough surface is the point: epiphytic plants – anubias, java fern and mosses – grip a fissured surface far better than a smooth stone. The rhizome gets a hold and the plant does not come loose in the flow.

A note on water values: the stone is slightly calcareous and may harden the aquarium water a little. In a tank that needs soft water – blackwater species, for instance – watch the carbonate hardness after adding it.
