Hobby Mangrove Wood XL 50-70 cm

Natural mangrove root for aquariums, size XL (50 to 70 cm). Every piece is a one-off, so shape and branching vary.

The wood releases humic acids into the water. They soften the water towards the natural conditions of many tropical species, support plant growth and slow algae growth.

Plecos and other rasping catfish need woody material as dietary fibre, and the roots are hiding places for catfish, loaches and shrimps as well.

Before use: soak the root in a container until it sinks by itself. Also suitable for terrariums.
