What the corner model is for: the back corner of an aquarium is usually dead space in the layout – a plant will not fit there and you cannot see into it. A cave that sits in the corner puts exactly that space to use and leaves the middle of the tank free as swimming room.

Placing it: press the cave tight against the corner, opening towards the tank and away from the light. Leave a small clear patch of sand in front of the opening so that the occupant can see out before venturing forward – that in-between space is exactly what a shy fish uses.

Shades: the model comes in two, red and dark. The dimensions are the same in both; only the shade differs.

Before use: rinse under running water without detergent and check that no sharp edges are left at the opening.
