Dupla Ground Nature Black Pebbles Mini 10 kg

Rounded black natural stones, the smaller size of the Black Pebbles grade. Pack 10 kg.

Where it is used: rounded stones suit landscaping over a finer bed, the floor of a stream bed and territory boundaries. A rounded shape does not injure digging fish the way crushed stone with sharp edges can.

A natural product: this is natural stone and it is not dyed. The manufacturer notes that natural stone may contain traces of lime: if the tank water is meant to stay soft, test a sample before use (put a handful in water and follow the carbonate hardness for a few days).

How much is needed: the manufacturer's formula is tank length (cm) × width (cm) ÷ 140 = kilos for a five centimetre layer. This 10 kg pack therefore covers about 1 400 cm² of floor area at 5 cm. For example, a 5 cm layer in a 100 × 40 cm tank takes about 28.6 kg.

Setting up: rinse with cold water before use – transport creates fine dust that would otherwise cloud the water. The recommended layer is 5–8 cm depending on the planting.
