Cutting leaves an offcut worth keeping. Trimming a metre-and-a-half poster for a smaller tank leaves a good deal of material, and it will serve as a background for a second small tank or as a spare should the first attempt at fixing fail.

Store the offcut rolled, not folded. A fold leaves a permanent mark in the poster that shows against the glass as a line.

The poster is double-sided and weighs 80 grams.
