Sicce AIRLIGHT 1.000

Sicce AIRLIGHT 1.000 is an externally installed aquarium air pump that provides a steady airflow for oxygenation and improved water circulation. It delivers a maximum airflow of 60 litres per hour while consuming only 1.8 watts. Its compact design makes it particularly suitable for smaller freshwater and marine aquariums as well as other applications requiring gentle aeration.

Effective aeration increases surface movement and encourages gas exchange between the aquarium water and the surrounding air. This helps maintain suitable conditions for fish, invertebrates, and beneficial filter bacteria. The AIRLIGHT 1.000 can be connected to an air stone, bubbling ornament, or small air driven filter.

The pump is designed for quiet operation. Vibration damping rubber feet reduce the transfer of vibration to furniture and other surfaces, helping keep operating noise to a minimum. It can be placed on a stable horizontal surface or attached vertically using the integrated wall mounting hook.

AIRLIGHT 1.000 has one stainless steel air outlet that provides a durable connection for the airline. An integrated indicator light shows when the pump is operating. Transparent airline tubing is included according to the manufacturer’s product information.

The pump must always be installed outside the aquarium and should preferably be positioned above the water level. If it is installed below the water level, a suitable non return valve should be fitted to the airline to prevent water from flowing back into the pump. The unit must never be submerged.

Installation and use

Place the pump on a stable, dry surface outside the aquarium. Position it above the water level whenever possible to prevent water from travelling back through the airline. Connect the airline to the pump outlet and install an air stone, aquarium ornament, or air driven filter at the other end.

Inspect the air stone regularly. Clean or replace it if airflow begins to decrease. A blocked air stone can increase back pressure and reduce pump performance.
