A UV-B energy-saving lamp for terrariums, UV-B share 8 %. This model is intended for desert and steppe species.

Reptiles need UV-B radiation to form vitamin D3 in the skin. Without it calcium is not absorbed properly, which leads to metabolic disease, most typically rickets. The lamp provides a species-appropriate UV-B dose and supports natural D3 synthesis.

The lamp fits a standard E27 holder and needs no separate ballast.

Safety: the lamp is intended for keeping reptiles only, not for room illumination. Do not look directly into the light source. UV radiation above 2 mW/klm.
