The Diversa Terrarium with Sliding Mesh Top provides a secure and versatile habitat for a wide range of terrarium animals. Its clear glass construction offers an unobstructed view of the animal and interior while creating an attractive display in the home or animal room.

The metal mesh top provides effective ventilation across the upper surface. Warm air and excess humidity can escape through the mesh, helping reduce stagnant air and supporting a stable terrarium environment.

The sliding top provides convenient access for feeding, misting, cleaning, and rearranging the interior. It does not require the clearance needed by a large hinged lid, making the terrarium practical for shelves and compact installations. The integrated locking mechanism helps keep the top securely closed and reduces the risk of escape.

The mesh top also supports flexible lighting and heating arrangements. A suitable heat lamp, UVB fixture, or LED light can be positioned above the mesh according to the requirements of the animal. Always follow the equipment manufacturer’s instructions and maintain safe distances from the mesh, glass, furnishings, and animal.

The glass base supports a wide range of substrates, including sand, clay based terrarium substrate, coconut fibre, bark, moss, and bioactive soil mixtures. Select the substrate according to the natural habitat, humidity requirements, burrowing behaviour, and health needs of the species.

Branches, roots, rocks, cork bark, caves, hides, and suitable plants can be used to create a natural environment. Terrestrial animals require sufficient floor space and secure hiding places. Climbing species need firmly attached branches, platforms, and structures that make effective use of the enclosure height.

Depending on the selected size and setup, the Diversa terrarium can be suitable for snakes, lizards, amphibians, scorpions, spiders, beetles, and other terrarium animals. Always select the enclosure according to the adult size and natural behaviour of the intended species.

Temperature and humidity should be monitored with suitable measuring equipment. Heat dependent animals require a temperature gradient that allows movement between warmer and cooler areas. Humidity can be managed with controlled misting, moisture retaining substrate, and suitable environmental equipment.

The smooth glass surfaces are easy to maintain. Remove waste, uneaten food, shed skin, and spoiled substrate regularly. Use animal safe cleaning methods and rinse all treated surfaces thoroughly before returning the animal to the enclosure.
