A clamp lamp for the rim of the terrarium or the top of a screen cover, size Small (14.4 × 14.4 × 14.4 cm). E27 socket.

The body is metal, the socket heat-resistant ceramic and the mount a spring-loaded swivel clamp that lets you aim the lamp at the basking site. The switch is on the long power cord.

The inside of the reflector has a luminous coating: it stores light energy during the day and releases it slowly at night. The moon-like glow is enough for a diurnal animal to find its night burrow calmly and for a nocturnal one to move about without its cycle being disturbed. It also lets you watch the animals at night without switching the lights on.

A separate night bulb is therefore not needed – unless heat is required, in which case what you need is a heat source rather than a light.

The fixture takes all E27 Exo Terra bulbs: Daytime Heat Lamp, Intense Basking Spot, Daylight Basking Spot, Halogen Basking Spot, Natural Light, Reptile UVB100, UVB150 and UVB200 and the Infrared Basking Spot.

Note: Glow Light models are not to be used with Exo Terra glass terrariums. For those use the Light Dome together with the Light Bracket. The product is intended for keeping reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates only.
