A splash and mist resistant spot bulb, 100 W, E27 cap.

An ordinary basking bulb can crack if a drop of water hits the hot glass. In an aquatic terrarium or a heavily misted one that is a real risk. The outer sleeve of this bulb is extra-strong neodymium glass that withstands splashes and mist.

The neodymium glass also enhances the animal's colouring.

The bulb is intended for aquatic and very humid terrariums – the basking site of a turtle enclosure, for instance.
