Macrognathus zebrinus 8-10 cm

Macrognathus zebrinus is an attractive spiny eel with a slender body and distinctive striped pattern. It spends much of its time exploring the substrate and searching for food around roots, plants and decorations.

This species prefers aquariums with soft sand, plenty of hiding places and subdued lighting. It is generally peaceful and becomes more active during the evening hours.
