Tunze Care Magnet long Algae Cleaner

Tunze Care Magnet long provides fast, precise, and convenient cleaning of large aquarium glass panels. Its elongated ergonomic construction, strong magnetic coupling, and specially shaped plastic blades remove algae without the high water resistance of a conventional flat cleaning pad.

The cleaner is suitable for freshwater, marine, and reef aquariums with glass thickness from 10 to 15 mm.

High-performance plastic blades

The plastic blades concentrate the cleaning force along narrow edges. This removes algae effectively while creating little resistance as the cleaner moves through the water.

Rounded blade corners simplify cleaning close to silicone seams and aquarium corners. The wear-resistant material provides a service life ranging from several months to approximately one year, depending on use.

Stainless steel blade

The package includes a stainless steel blade for stubborn deposits, hard green spot algae, and calcareous algae in marine aquariums.

The metal blade is intended exclusively for glass aquariums. Never use the stainless steel blade on acrylic or plastic surfaces.

Make sure that the blade and glass are free from sand, gravel, and other hard particles before cleaning.

Reduced risk of trapped sand

The internal magnet body remains more than 3 mm away from the aquarium glass. This reduces the possibility of sand becoming trapped between the cleaner body and glass.

The design significantly reduces scratching risk but cannot eliminate it completely. Inspect all contact surfaces before every use.

Care Booster floats

The two included Care Booster components allow the internal cleaning magnet to float to the surface if it separates from the external magnet.

Care Booster also provides an ergonomic grip for the outer magnet, making the cleaner easier to move across long glass panels.

Use and care

1. Confirm a glass thickness of 10–15 mm.
2. Inspect the cleaner and aquarium glass.
3. Remove every grain of sand and hard particle.
4. Install the Care Booster components.
5. Place the internal cleaner inside the aquarium.
6. Bring the external magnet towards the glass from the side.
7. Allow the magnets to connect gradually.
8. Clean using slow and controlled movements.
9. Avoid pressing the blades forcefully against silicone seams.
10. Use the stainless steel blade only on glass.
11. Slide the external magnet sideways to separate the parts.
12. Rinse the cleaner and blades after use.
13. Dry the stainless steel blade thoroughly.

Strong magnets create a pinching hazard. Keep the product away from children and magnet-sensitive equipment.
