Nyos Phosphate+ is a high-purity phosphate for raising nutrient levels in a reef aquarium. 1 000 ml.
Nyos Phosphate+ raises the phosphate level of a reef aquarium in a controlled way. The product is highly pure and free of unwanted additives, so it lifts only the value you mean to lift.
In a reef tank nutrients that are too low are as much of a problem as nutrients that are too high. When nitrate and phosphate run low the corals start to starve: growth slows, colours fade and, if it persists, tissue begins to recede. An imbalance between nitrate and phosphate feeds algae instead.
Coral growers put the target at 10–20 ppm nitrate and 0.025–0.05 ppm phosphate. For this product the target is 0.025–0.05 ppm.
