NYOS Ion-B Ca/Mg+ Liquid
NYOS ION-B CA/MG+ Liquid replenishes calcium, magnesium, and selected ion-balancing elements in marine aquariums. The premixed solution requires no dilution and is suitable for manual dosing or automatic dosing pumps.
The ION-B system reflects the approximate 1:7 relationship between alkalinity and calcium consumption during coral calcification. Therefore, CA/MG+ and ALK/pH+ are generally dosed in equal quantities, with final dosing adjusted according to measured aquarium consumption.

Dosage
Starting guideline:
5–10 ml per 100 litres of actual aquarium-system water volume daily.
Adjust the dosage according to measured daily alkalinity and calcium consumption. In most systems, dose equal quantities of ION-B CA/MG+ and ION-B ALK/pH+.
Instructions
- Measure alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium.
- Calculate the actual system water volume.
- Determine daily alkalinity consumption.
- Begin with 5–10 ml per 100 litres daily.
- Dose equal quantities of CA/MG+ and ALK/pH+ unless testing indicates otherwise.
- Divide the daily quantity into several small doses.
- Dose into an area with strong water circulation.
- Keep CA/MG+ and ALK/pH+ in separate containers.
- Do not dose both solutions simultaneously at the same location.
- Monitor alkalinity daily during adjustment.
- Test calcium and magnesium regularly.
- Adjust dosing gradually.
