Chihiros CO₂ Indicator Tiny is a compact glass drop checker for continuous monitoring of dissolved carbon dioxide in planted aquariums. A separately available indicator solution changes colour according to the CO₂ level: blue indicates insufficient CO₂, green indicates an appropriate level and yellow indicates excessive CO₂. Its small 32 × 35 mm design and transparent suction cup make it particularly suitable for nano aquariums and discreet aquascaping installations. Indicator solution is not included
The drop checker provides a simple visual indication of dissolved CO₂ without electricity, batteries or electronic sensors. Its clear glass construction blends into the aquarium, while the compact Tiny dimensions reduce its visual impact.
The indicator is filled with a suitable CO₂ reagent and installed underwater with its opening facing downwards. Gas exchange through the trapped air space gradually changes the colour of the solution.
