Chihiros 12/16 mm letkut -CO2 diffuusori External M

The diffuser is installed outside the aquarium on the pressure side of an external filter. Filtered water passes through the diffuser before returning to the aquarium.

A 4/6 mm pressure-resistant CO₂ hose connects to the side inlet. The internal ceramic element atomises CO₂ into fine bubbles, which are carried through the return hose and distributed by the filter outflow.

Installation

1. Confirm that the filter return hose is 12/16 mm.
2. Close the CO₂-cylinder valve.
3. Disconnect the external filter from power.
4. Close the filter-hose valves.
5. Select a dry and accessible installation position.
6. Install the diffuser in the filter return hose.
7. Follow the marked water-flow direction.
8. Push both filter hoses completely over the connectors.
9. Connect pressure-resistant 4/6 mm CO₂ hose.
10. Install a check valve in the correct direction.
11. Support the hoses to prevent strain on the diffuser.
12. Fill and bleed the filter circuit.
13. Start the external filter.
14. Check all water connections for leakage.
15. Open the CO₂-cylinder valve slowly.
16. Set sufficient working pressure.
17. Adjust the bubble rate gradually.
18. Check all CO₂ connections for leakage.
19. Monitor aquarium pH, the CO₂ indicator and livestock.
