eSHa TRIMARIN is a broad spectrum treatment for marine fish kept in aquariums without invertebrates. It treats a wide range of parasitic, bacterial, and fungal conditions, including marine white spot, marine velvet, fin rot, and fungal infections. Its broad action makes it a practical choice when symptoms overlap and the exact cause is difficult to identify.

eSHa TRIMARIN is a broad spectrum marine fish treatment developed for several common diseases and related symptoms. It is intended for fish only marine aquariums that do not contain corals, sea anemones, shrimp, crabs, snails, or other invertebrates.

TRIMARIN can be used against marine white spot, marine velvet, fin rot, fungal infections, and several bacterial and parasitic conditions. Its broad range is particularly useful when a fish displays several symptoms or when the precise cause of the condition has not been confirmed.

Marine white spot is commonly associated with Cryptocaryon irritans. Possible signs include white spots on the body and fins, rubbing against aquarium surfaces, increased breathing rate, reduced appetite, and unusual swimming behaviour.

Marine velvet may be caused by Amyloodinium ocellatum. A fine pale, yellow, or golden coating may appear on the skin. The parasite can also affect the gills, causing rapid breathing, reduced appetite, and a tendency to remain near the water surface or in areas with strong water movement.

TRIMARIN can also be used for fin rot and fungal infections. Fin rot may appear as ragged, shortened, inflamed, or damaged fins. Fungal infections can produce pale or cotton like growths on the body, fins, wounds, and other areas where the protective mucus layer has been damaged.

The treatment is also suitable for a range of external parasites affecting the skin and gills. Possible signs include increased mucus production, rubbing, cloudy skin, breathing difficulties, clamped fins, lethargy, and reduced appetite.

eSHa TRIMARIN is added directly to the aquarium water. Fish do not normally need to be caught or transferred to a separate treatment tank whennub the aquarium contains no sensitive invertebrates. Strong circulation and adequate oxygenation should be maintained throughout the treatment.

Mechanical and biological filtration can normally remain in operation. Activated carbon, zeolite, ion exchange resins, and other treatment absorbing filtration media should be removed. Ultraviolet sterilizers, ozone generators, and similar water treatment equipment should also be switched off during treatment.

TRIMARIN must not be used in reef aquariums containing corals or other invertebrates. If the display aquarium contains invertebrates, affected fish should be moved to an appropriate treatment aquarium or a treatment suitable for the complete aquarium population should be selected.
